Dr Wafa El-Adhami — CEO 

Dr Wafa El-Adhami (not pictured) has been the Executive Director of the SAGE Pilot Program since 2015 and is now the CEO of SAGE Ltd.

Brendon Houlahan, Office Support Officer

Part of the SAGE Team since the Pilot Program, Brendon provides essential administrative support to SAGE and manages the delivery of resources and events for subscribers.

Ingrid Klausen, Business and Governance Manager

Ingrid is responsible for establishing and implementing financial management of SAGE and overseeing the effective development and implementation of policies and procedures that support the SAGE objectives. Ingrid has a background in Corporate Governance, Risk, Quality, Audit and Compliance, and joined SAGE Ltd in 2020.

Tamzen Armer, Senior Advisor — Capacity Building

Part of the SAGE Team since the Pilot Program, Tamzen’s role includes planning, developing and delivering research and resources, particularly training and education activities, to support SAGE subscribers and ensure the successful delivery of the Athena SWAN Charter.

Dr. Mehdi Shabaninejad, Advisor — Data Insights and Analytics

Mehdi joined SAGE Ltd as a Data Scientist in 2020. His role is to develop workflow for collecting and analysing complex datasets from institutions on the progress and impact of SAGE and Athena SWAN. He is currently designing a database to capture data from the Athena SWAN accreditation process. Mehdi completed his PhD in Physics and Engineering from ANU and has industry experience in energy sector.

Dr. Mei Yi Leow, Advisor — Research and Resources

In her role as Research Advisor, Mei conducts thematic analysis of SAGE Athena SWAN applications to deliver insights and resources to support subscribers in their equity, diversity and inclusion work. Mei has a doctorate in Chemistry and formerly worked in industry as a lab chemist. She joined the SAGE Team in 2019 as an intern.

Jennifer Cameron, Advisor — Accreditation Practice and Performance

Jennifer is the newest recruit, having joined the SAGE team in September 2020. Her role is to support a complement of SAGE functions, including the SAGE accreditation practice and performance, coordination and support for SAGE working groups, mining and analysis of SAGE data and applications and the production of SAGE promotional products. Jennifer has a Masters degree in Mathematics with Statistics and professional experience in the retail industry as a merchandise planner.
